Terms of Service for Taplo, Taplo Plus, and Taplo Pro

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the "Taplo", "Taplo Plus", and "Taplo Pro" mobile applications (collectively referred to as the “Apps” or "Service"), operated by EXYLIX Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

The Apps are available for download on Google Play. By accessing or using the Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. The Service

Taplo, Taplo Plus, and Taplo Pro are tally counter applications designed to make counting more engaging, competitive, and personalized. Core features include a global leaderboard, achievement system, session tracking, and customization options.

- Taplo (Freemium): Available for free download. Contains optional in-app purchases to unlock premium cosmetic features.

- Taplo Plus (Limited Premium): Available as a paid download at a lower price point than Taplo Pro. Requires a one-time upfront purchase. It grants lifetime access to a select, limited set of premium customization features (offering fewer features than Taplo Pro), with no in-app purchases required.

- Taplo Pro (Fully Premium): Available as a paid download. Requires a one-time upfront purchase. All premium features and customization options are fully unlocked by default, with no in-app purchases or virtual currencies required.

Certain features of the Service require an active internet connection, including leaderboard access, profile synchronization, and processing purchases.

2. User Accounts

To access features such as the global leaderboard and progress synchronization, you must create an account using Google Sign-In.

You agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete account information.

- Keep your account credentials secure.

- Not share your account with others.

- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security breach.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Purchases, Payments, and Virtual Currency

The payment models differ depending on which App you are using:

A. Taplo Pro (Fully Paid App)

- App Purchase: Taplo Pro requires a one-time upfront payment to download from Google Play.

- Fully Unlocked: All cosmetic and premium features are included in the initial purchase price. There are no in-app purchases or virtual currencies within Taplo Pro.

- Refunds: Refunds for the initial app purchase are subject to Google Play’s standard refund policies.

B. Taplo Plus (Limited Premium App)

- App Purchase: Taplo Plus requires a one-time upfront payment to download from Google Play.

- Limited Unlocked Features: This initial purchase grants lifetime access to a curated, limited selection of premium features. It does not include the full suite of features available in Taplo Pro. There are no in-app purchases or virtual currencies within Taplo Plus.

- Refunds: Refunds for the initial app purchase are subject to Google Play’s standard refund policies.

C. Taplo (Freemium App)

- In-App Purchases (IAPs): Taplo offers optional in-app purchases in the form of a virtual currency known as "Diamonds."

- No Real-World Value: Diamonds are virtual items with no monetary value. They are used exclusively within the App to unlock cosmetic customization options such as themes, font styles, colors, and backgrounds.

- Refunds: Purchases of Diamonds are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

- Forfeiture: Diamonds are provided as a limited, non-transferable license. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between users. If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, any remaining Diamonds will be forfeited.

D. Payment Processing (All Apps)

All payments (upfront app purchases and IAPs) are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to misuse the Service or engage in any prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

- Cheating or exploiting the Service to manipulate scores or leaderboard rankings.

- Using bots, scripts, automation tools, or unauthorized third-party software.

- Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Apps or servers.

- Harassing, abusing, threatening, or impersonating other users.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

5. Termination or Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Apps. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Apps—including software, text, graphics, logos, and the Taplo/Taplo Plus/Taplo Pro names—are the exclusive property of EXYLIX Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy Policy and Account Deletion

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. You may delete your account at any time using the in-app account deletion option or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EXYLIX Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
