Terms of Service for Taplo

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Taplo mobile application (the “App”), operated by EXYLIX Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Taplo is available for download on Google Play.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. The Service

Taplo is a freemium tally counter application designed to make counting more engaging, competitive, and personalized. Core features include a global leaderboard, achievement system, session tracking, and customization options.

Certain features of the Service require an active internet connection, including leaderboard access, profile synchronization, and in-app purchases.

2. User Accounts

To access features such as the global leaderboard and progress synchronization, you must create an account using Google Sign-In.

You agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete account information

- Keep your account credentials secure

- Not share your account with others

- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security breach

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency

Taplo offers optional in-app purchases (“IAPs”) in the form of virtual currency known as Diamonds.

No Real-World Value

Diamonds are virtual items with no monetary value. They are used exclusively within the App to unlock cosmetic customization options such as themes, font styles, colors, and backgrounds.

Payments

All purchases are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Refunds

Purchases of Diamonds are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Forfeiture

Diamonds are provided as a limited, non-transferable license. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between users. If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, any remaining Diamonds will be forfeited.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to misuse the Service or engage in any prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

- Cheating or exploiting the Service to manipulate scores or leaderboard rankings

- Using bots, scripts, automation tools, or unauthorized third-party software

- Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or servers

- Harassing, abusing, threatening, or impersonating other users

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

5. Termination or Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App—including software, text, graphics, logos, and the Taplo name—are the exclusive property of EXYLIX Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy Policy and Account Deletion

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

You may delete your account at any time using the in-app account deletion option or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EXYLIX Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
