This Privacy Policy applies to the Taplo mobile application (the “App”), developed and provided as a freemium service by EXYLIX Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Taplo is available for download on Google Play.

By using Taplo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect limited information that is necessary to provide, operate, and improve the Taplo app.

Personally Identifiable Information  
We collect your name and email address through Google Sign-In for account creation and management, along with a unique user ID associated with your account.

Technical and Device Information  
We may collect device-related information such as app instance identifiers, device date and time settings, and mobile operating system details.

App Activity Data  
We collect app interaction data, including tap counts, session history, and achievement progress, which are used for features such as the global leaderboard and user profiles.

Crash Logs and Diagnostics  
We collect crash reports and diagnostic data to monitor performance, fix errors, and improve app stability and reliability.

Approximate Location Data  
We may collect approximate location information (such as country or city) derived from IP address. This data is used only in aggregated form for analytics purposes through Firebase Analytics. We do not collect precise GPS location data.

How We Use This Information  
- To manage user accounts, authentication, and profile synchronization  
- To provide core app functionality, including leaderboard rankings, achievements, session history, and access to purchased items  
- To analyze usage patterns and improve performance, stability, and user experience  

2. In-App Purchases and Payments

Taplo offers optional in-app purchases in the form of virtual currency known as Diamonds.

All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Purchase history, including purchased items and timestamps, is securely stored only to deliver purchased content, restore purchases across devices, and maintain account functionality.

3. Third-Party Services

Taplo uses trusted third-party services that may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies, including:
- Google Play Services  
- Google Play Billing  
- Firebase (Analytics, backend services, and crash reporting)

4. Account and Data Deletion

Users have full control over their data.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time using one of the following methods:
- Deleting your account directly within the App through the Profile section  
- Submitting a request via our Account Deletion page  
- Sending an email request to taploapp@gmail.com  

All associated personal data is permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by applicable law or regulatory obligations.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
- When required by law or legal process  
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or others  
- To trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations  

6. Opt-Out

You may stop all data collection by uninstalling the App from your device.

7. Data Retention

User data is retained while your Taplo account remains active. After account deletion, remaining data is removed within a reasonable period unless legally required to retain it.

8. Children’s Privacy

Taplo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such information is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect user data. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

By using Taplo, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
